Datuk Roger Wong, Founder & Group Managing Director of KGW Group Bhd, holds a Bachelor's degree in International Relations & Strategic Studies from the University of Malaya and brings over 20 years of experience in the logistics industry.

In 2005, at the age of 24, Roger founded KGW Logistics with a vision to transform Malaysia’s logistics sector. Since then, he has expanded KGW into a leading logistics provider, specializing in the Asia-USA trade route, while also diversifying into healthcare through KGW Medica.

His unwavering commitment to the company’s motto, "Your Trust, Our Commitment," has been a key driver in KGW's success, ensuring consistent customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Under Roger’s leadership, KGW Group Bhd. reached a significant milestone in 2023 by being listed on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange, making it one of the few publicly listed logistics companies in Malaysia.

Roger’s contributions to the logistics industry have earned him numerous accolades, including the Golden Bull Award, SME100 Award, The BrandLaureate Awards, and the inaugural Kuala Lumpur International Transport & Transport Excellence Award by the Malaysian Ministry of Transport.

In 2011, he was conferred the title of Dato’ after receiving the Darjah Indera Mahkota Pahang (DIMP) from the Sultan of Pahang.

Beyond business, Roger is committed to sharing his knowledge with the community. He is frequently invited to share his experiences at industry conferences and academic institutions. Additionally, he serves on the Industry Advisory Panels of University Tenaga Nasional since 2021 and Malaysia University of Science & Technology since 2022, advising on the development of their Bachelor’s programs and helping to mentor the next generation of logistics professionals.

Roger remains dedicated to advancing the logistics industry while mentoring future leaders and contributing his expertise to foster innovation and growth.
